Directions to The Corcoran
Concerts at the Corcoran Gallery of Art are performed in the Hammer Auditorium
located at 17th Street and New York Avenues, N.W.,
in downtown Washington, D.C., one block west of the White House.
Concerts begin at 4 PM.
Because of the heightened security in the vicinity of the White House, parking is very tight. We encourage you to plan a little extra time or take a taxi or the Metro. The nearest Metro stops are Metro Center, Farragut North, and Farragut West.
From Metro Center, walk east down F Street to the Treasury Department Building, walk around the back of the White House to the Corcoran Gallery.
From Farragut North, walk south down Connecticut Avenue, which turns into 17th Street, about 5 blocks to the Corcoran.
From Farragut West, walk west to 17th Street, then south to the Corcoran.
Limited parking is available on New York Avenue, west of 17th Street. Please come early. The Corcoran Gallery will be open.
